HOW TO SIGN UP AND WHAT DOES MY LAND ALERT DO?
1. Create an Account
Click the REGISTER link above.
Read the Account Registration Disclaimer.
If you agree, provide your email address, name, and a password.
You'll receive an email with instructions. Complete the registration within 48 hours, or it will be deleted.
2. Set Up Alerts
Log in with your email and password.
Click the ALERTS link at the top of the page.
Add, edit, or delete alerts. Specify the county and the name (individual or business) you want to monitor.
3. How It Works
Every day at midnight, our servers check the Register of Deeds records.
If a document matches a name on your alert list, you'll get an email with the details.
Use this information to investigate further.
4. Important Notes
You might get notifications about documents recorded by other people with the same name.
MY LAND ALERT is just a notification service. We don't handle or investigate documents.
For any concerns, contact your local Register of Deeds.
Tip: For better results, if your name is JOHN HENRY SMITH, enter JOHN for the first name and SMITH for the last name.
That's it! Simple and straightforward. 😊
